Patrick Briody & Sons - A Brief History

Patrick Briody & Sons Ltd. was established in the late 1950's by Patrick Briody. Drilling technique was by cable tool percussion, undertaking mainly domestic water wells.

Patrick provided much innovation into the water well drilling business in Ireland through the 1960's and 1970's and was one of the first to acquire a truck mounted air/rotary percussion drilling rig.

In the 1980's Patrick's son Aidan further developed the business, expanding drilling scope and capability. Padraig, Aidan's brother joined the business in 1991.
